Meet Dr. Rascheda Long, DDS

Dr. Rascheda Long is a native of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, but has resided in the Dallas/Fort Worth area since 1996. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from Southern University. While pursuing her engineering degree, she proudly served her country in the Louisiana Air National Guard. Her professional career began at Texas Instruments, where she worked as a Product Safety Engineer & she later joined Alcatel as a Product Support Engineer.

After six years in engineering, Dr. Long decided to pursue her lifelong dream of becoming a dentist. She attended & graduated from Texas A&M HSC Baylor College of Dentistry. She is committed to staying abreast of the latest technology & advances in dentistry by attending numerous hours of continuing education. Her overall goal is to take the stress out of dentistry. She has a gentle approach to dentistry & is patient & understanding when it comes to anxious patients. She loves transforming patients who are often nervous before their appointment & need sedation into confident patients who feel comfortable & ready for treatment.

Dr. Long enjoys spending time with her three beautiful children. In her spare time, she enjoys experimenting with different recipes to accommodate their three different taste buds. She is a diehard New Orleans Saints fan, but enjoys watching football in general, as well as professional tennis.
